National Bank of Tanzania/Financial Sector Deepening Trust

Provision of technical support to the Bank of Tanzania in the implementation of Tanzania’s National Financial Education Framework, ensuring the public is educated and informed of their rights, responsibilities and redress options in the financial sector. The project forms part of the five year implementation plan adopted by the National Council for Financial Inclusion, extending financial services to vulnerable target segments (youth, women, rural poor). Dimes’ work focuses on the institutionalisation of the framework, establishing a funding strategy, a consumer strategy, 
preparing the educational system for stakeholders involved, and on measuring levels of financial capability.
